Fees and Fundraising

This fall, Water Polo is an official HRVHS Varsity Sport!

This means that general player fee's are covered as well as pool fees, coaches and refs!

Players still need to purchase suits and we still have some equipment, uniforms and team activities that we would like to be able to be able to pay for so we are still doing some minimal fundraising. If players want to hold onto uniform items (such as suits and parkas) the school won't pay for those. We are hoping that if we make enough we can cover our end of year BBQ at States, suit fees for next year as well as parkas and other gear. Plus, fundraising is team building and helps contribute to the sense of community as a team.

Fundraising opportunities:

• Cross Channel Swim: Monday, Labor Day September 5th. Adults and players are needed to support swimmers in the river and on land. We need at least 60 people so please sign up and bring friends and neighbors.

• Hops Fest: THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE SPONSORED BY THE HRVWP CLUB and not the High School Team this year. Adults will be needed to pour beer on Sat Oct 1st (day and evening options). Club participant youth will be needed to set up on Friday evening and tear down on Sunday morning. More info will come out from the HRVWP Club on this event.

• Harvest Fest: Adults needed on October 7th and 8th. Specific jobs vary. Sign up coming...

• Wreath Sales: We sell the most gorgeous Holly wreaths handmade by Kellie's friends in the Willamette Valley. More information on this coming out soon. We hope to be on it by November 1st.
